The rainy season is here. If you cant hear it I am simultaneously overjoyed for the people desperately waiting for this, but personally irritated. Not only did I leave the wettest season on record to come here, but, yes but, it has this affect on the country’s power and therefore internet…and, this means, I, am, inconvenienced. I want to communicate with my family. Not so easy. Not the end of the world. I have managed, briefly but managed. I have seen my beautiful girls, spoke to my wife. But, and this is what is really getting me right now, I have about 14 times been in the midst of downloading a document that I must edit and we have lost power. I am hungry also. Poor privileged me.
The Saginaw, Michigan Bishop is here. He is from Philadelphia so doesn’t really know Michigan yet. A woman Judge from New Mexico is also here. They are on the board of directors. Big long winded coffee gathering. Not what you would call exciting.
The download is stuck.
Its raining.
Next week we start the work. I am waiting.
Today, I need to edit this document. I also need to download a program for the Iphone that will allow me to map the trip in GIS format. Its stuck also.
I might just go to the bar. No bar nearby so that wont work.
Eat. Yes eat.
I have had too much coffee.
We finally had a meeting that was productive. The WASH team and I set out an innitial design for a business plan proposal. Now I am excited. We go next week to several communities with an actual model to propose. This will be interesting.
